Opportunities:
Service Trip with Rustic Pathways to Dominican Republic
- Think about your greatest service project to-date. Now, imagine it on the beautiful, white sandy beaches of the Dominican
Republic, with the clear blue water lapping at your feet. Through Key Club’s partnership with Rustic Pathways, this service project is possible. With other Key Club members from around the country, join a weeklong service mission to the DR to complete water and infrastructure projects for the villages and towns on the island. Next summer, you would be able to expand your own horizons, while still helping those in need. With meaningful service projects in the morning, and bonding experiences in the afternoon, it would be a rewarding week, with lots of relaxation. This type of trip is something that would be memorable for decades to come, but it can also be useful for college, career, or scholarship applications. Finally, you would have an answer about a “meaningful experience”, because this is truly a meaningful experience. For more information about a sweepstakes and scholarship for the event, visit www.rusticpathways.com.
