Note in the Pocket Teen Board
Note in the Pocket is a charity that provides clothing to impoverished and homeless schoolchildren in Wake County with dignity and love. The teen board is a selected group of 25 teenagers who help organize fundraisers, raise awareness, and help support the mission.
This organization helped me develop leadership skills, be an upstanding member of society, and meet new friends along the way! It also
looks great on a college application.

Project Grocery Grant
One of our fellow Apex students has started this project with a couple of his friends.
Their Goal: The goal of our campaign is to help people who have lost their job due to COVID-19 afford groceries. We have been in contact with several local businesses, who distribute an application to their employees who then fill out the application. The application is reviewed by us, so we can understand their story and get them a grocery grant. They receive this monetary contribution in whatever way they prefer, whether it be venmo, check, gift card, etc. We need the help of as many people as we can get and saw our school’s key club as a great opportunity to help students earn hours, while also helping us raise money.
*Please screenshot your donation. Every $5 = 0.5hr.
